Salsa Dance and Your Health

Salsa dancing has been proven to be equal to a high-intensity workout. Because of this, there are many health benefits to learning how to dance salsa. You'll notice that when you're out there on the dance floor, you'll sweat quite a bit. This is just because you'll be so active while your dancing. Salsa dancing isn't a walk in the park, but don't get me wrong, it's tons of fun. There is constant movement while your dancing and the best part is, is that you'll get a great workout and it'll be over so fast you won't even realize you've actually been exercising. You've been having fun, not working. Do you want strong legs? Salsa dancing will build up the muscles on those legs faster than you could imagine. Of course you won't have humongous body builder legs from dancing, but you'll gain lots of strength and increase your stamina to dance longer and longer. Cardio is one of the most important parts of working out and Salsa dancing is one big cardio exercise. You'll get your heart pumping and energy flowing. The whole time you're out on that dance floor having a great time, you'll also be getting yourself into shape. If you can't stand the gym, hit the dance floor and learn to salsa dance. An if you already visit the gym regularly, salsa dancing is a great addition to your work out. |
